Accommodations
Thunder Bay has many accommodation options available including Hotels, Motels, and Short Term Rentals (AirBnB, VRBO, etc.).
There are some areas of Thunder Bay that aren't ideal to stay in, therefore we have curated a list of options below we feel are best.
Please let us know if we can assist in any way in booking your accommodations, and if you intend to stay outside of the areas below, be sure to carefully review.
Hotel Options
HOTEL BLOCK
We have reserved a group rate at the Delta Hotels by Marriott. Situated on the waterfront, the Delta is one of Thunder Bay's nicest and only 4-star hotel, and a 5 minute walk from our wedding venue. * Click on link to the right for group rate*

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS (Approx. costs as of February 2024)
1. Best Western Plus NorWester,
This hotel is just outside of the city area, a 25 minute drive from the venue, surrounded by nature, it has lovely scenic views.
Rate: $300/night (includes all fees)

2. Intercity Area Hotels
These hotels are10 minutes from the venue, just between downtown and the suburbs, hotels in this area are near major roadways and a bit less expensive.

3. Arthur St. W. near Thunder Bay Airport Hotels

A hub of older hotels and motels, you will find cheaper rates in this area, but we do not recommend the area except for the recently built Home2 Suites by Hilton, opened in Feb 2024 which is approximately a 15 minute drive to the venue.

Short Stay Rental Options
There are various options for short term rentals such as AirBnB and VRBO. We have also found some options via Expedia.
If you're staying with a group, a short term rental is likely the least expensive option. We have seen some decent 4 bedroom homes that are approximately $300-400/day within 10-20 minute driving distance to the venue.
