Natural Wonders and Scenic Views
1. Kakabeka Falls
Kakabeka Falls, aka “Niagara of the North,” is the second highest waterfall in the province at 40 metres high.
2. Mount McKay
Located on the Indian Reserve of the Fort William First Nation, Mount McKay rises 1000ft over the city. At 500ft there is a viewing scope and skyline walk which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Superior and the surrounding area.
3. Prince Arthur Landing
The revitalized Waterfront District is home to dozens of shops, restaurants, bars and more.
4. Mission Island Marsh
A 600m boardwalk overlooking colourful aquatic vegetation and various ecosystems present in the Conservation Area, including Forest, Coastal Wetland, Lagoon and Meadow.
